Shah Rukh Khan, who took a significant break from acting, will return to the big screen after almost 5 years. The actor did make a few cameos during his absence in movies like 'Laal Singh Chaddha' and 'Rocketry'.
However, Khan is already prepping for projects that are already much anticipated for 2023. Fans have great expectations, but the actor promises them that his forthcoming movies will be "superhit movies."
In Aanand L. Rai's 'Zero', where he costarred with Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma, Shah Rukh Khan last made an appearance. The 57-year-old actor will soon be starring in Siddharth Anand's action thriller 'Pathaan'.
Shah Rukh Khan recently attended the 41st Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF) 2022, which was held at the Expo Center in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. He was questioned at the event about his nervousness around his upcoming releases of 'Pathaan', 'Dunki', and 'Jawan'.
The actor reportedly stated that since they are all going to be blockbuster movies, he does not believe he needs to be afraid. He went on to explain that his assertion is not "arrogant," but rather a viewpoint he harbours.
“If I did not have that belief that I am making a product that lots of people are going to like then I won’t be able to do it. So. it’s not an arrogant statement, this is what I like to believe. It’s a child-like belief that ‘look, I have prepared my best, I have done my best I am going to pass with flying colours,'” Shah Rukh Khan explained.
The actor also addressed the underlying uncertainty around a movie's commercial success. “Sometimes that happens with movies also. I do make a Zero. Sometimes my efforts come to the fore and there is a Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge,” he added.
On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan also has upcoming projects like Rajkumar Hirani's 'Dunki', which stars Taapsee Pannu in the lead role, and Atlee's 'Jawan', which also co-stars Nayanthara.
