New Delhi: There is no denying that Salman Khan is one of the Bollywood celebrities who is adored the most by fans. The rumour going around is that the actor will soon be the subject of his very own documentary series, as reported by ETimes.
Salman Khan, together with Wiz Films and Applause Entertainment, will be producing his documentary named, ‘Beyond the Star’. The life of the actor, including his rise to celebrity status, his interactions with others in the film business, and his scandals, will be the subject of the documentary. It will be narrated by his friends, family, co-stars, directors, producers, and several other people from the media industry.
Earlier in a discussion with Pinkvilla, Applause Entertainment’s CEO Sameer Nair revealed, “We were working with Salman Khan films and Wizcraft, and we got talking one day about doing something on Salman himself. So it sort of built up from there, and we have been in the process of putting it together, filming it and getting all the material in place.”
The documentary series will be produced by Wiz films, a multinational media conglomerate, under the direction of Viraf Sarkari and Sabreena Sarkari. One of the actor's closest friends, Iluia Vantur, will apparently host a handful of scenes.
Salman Khan is currently preparing for ‘Tiger 3’, in which he will co-star with Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi. Shah Rukh Khan will also make a cameo appearance as 'Pathaan' in the movie. 'Tiger 3' was slated to be released on Eid in 2023.
Later on, though, it was postponed. Then, Salman Khan tweeted the revised release date. "Tiger has a new date... Diwali 2023 it is! Celebrate #Tiger3 with #YRF50 only at a big screen near you. Releasing in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. #katrinakaif #ManeeshSharma," the tweet read.
