A video of Salman Khan tasting the food for quality check before sending out food packets is going viral on social media. On behalf of Salman Khan's 'Being Human Foundation', food is being arranged daily for the Mumbai frontline workers which include police, medical staff and BMC employees for the last one week.
Salman Khan has extended support to COVID-19 frontline workers by distributing food 5000 packets.
A viral video of the actor tasting the prepared food and checking the packages is going viral on the internet.
Rahul Kanan, who is associated with ‘Being Human’ and ‘I Love Mumbai’ told ABP News, “Salman Khan interacted with all the people preparing breakfast for the frontline workers. Today, pav-bhaji was prepared for 5000 frontline workers at breakfast. After Salman Khan tasted the Bhaji, he told the people who prepared it that it was good in taste.”
As part of a three-week, food packages that include tea, mineral water, a pack of biscuits, and snacks (upma,poha, vada pav or pav bhaji) are being distributed to the COVID-19 workers.
On a related note, last year during the lockdown, when Salman Khan was at his farmhouse, the actor had donated food supplied to those living near his Panvel farmhouse.
On work front, the actor is gearing up for the highly-anticipated film, Radhe Your Most Wanted Bhai which is scheduled to release on Eid 2021, May 13.
Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the makers of the film have decided to release it in theatres as well as on multiple online formats besides theatrical release.
Directed by Prabhudeva, Radhe also stars Disha Patani, Randeep Hooda and Jackie Shroff in pivotal roles.
