A throwback picture from Bollywood’s nawab Saif Ali Khan and his begum Kareena Kapoor’s wedding, shared online by a fan page is going big time viral on social media. The viral picture from Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor’s wedding in 2012 has resurfaced online.
The couple had tied the knot in a low key marriage in 2012, followed by a grand celebration for industry friends and family in Mumbai.
In the photo, shared online by a fan club, newlyweds Saif and Kareena Kapoor Khan are seen cutting a multi-tiered cake as Saif’s elder son Ibrahim Ali Khan is seen photobombing them in the background. The fan page which shared Saif, Kareena and Ibrahim’s photo wrote on Instagram, “Throwback 2012. Old is gold. My favourite couple and fav picture forever.”
In the picture, Kareena Kapoor Khan looks every bit of a regal bride decked up in a traditional sharara which was worn by her mother-in-law, Sharmila Tagore, for her own wedding in 1962. Saif Ali Khan too looked every bit of a royal prince in a white and gold sherwani and a turban.
4 years after their wedding, Saif and Kareena turned parents to first son Taimur Ali Khan in December 2016 and in February this year, the couple welcomed a second boy. The couple is yet to reveal the name of their second born.
Meanwhile on the work front, Kareena Kapoor Khan will be next seen alongside Aamir Khan in ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, which is scheduled for release in December this year.While Saif Ali Khan will be seen in horror drama ‘Bhoot Police’ with Arjun Kapoor, Yami Gautam and Jacqueline Fernandez. Saif also has ‘Adipurush’ in his kitty along with Prabhas and Kriti Sanon.
