New Delhi: The latest episode of the celebrity chat show ‘Koffee With Karan’ saw Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon spilling some beans and making some confessions. The guests had their share of goof-ups also in the episode.
In the final quiz round, Karan asked Kriti and Tiger to name the female actor who has played both Amitabh Bachchan’s mother and lover on screen. As Kriti replied, "Yeah I'm not very sure", Tiger answered uncertainly, “Rekha ma’am?” Karan was shocked and said, “what?”
Karan then continued, "No. She didn't..never played his mother. Waheeda Rehman played his lover and his mother, as has Rakhee, as has Sharmila Tagore." Tiger then said, "I was thinking that." Karan then asked, "Okay, you were thinking that?"
Tiger lost the quiz round to Kriti but won the rapid-fire round.
Apart from this blunder, Tiger finally came clean, or so we would like to believe, on his relationship status. The rumours of Tiger and Disha Patani’s break-up have been going around for almost a month now and both of them kept mum about this. Sitting cool behind his coloured shades, the star finally revealed his relationship status. “I am single. I think so at least and I am currently looking around,” admitted the star.
The actor though maintained throughout the show that he and Disha Patani are just good friends and have always been so. Interestingly, during the game round of the show, in which they were required to call celebrities, Tiger called Disha.
Tiger also revealed that he is infatuated with Shraddha Kapoor. “I have always been infatuated by Shradha Kapoor. I think she is great!” the actor said.
Apart from prodding Tiger about his relationship status, Karan Johar also asked Kriti if something was cooking between her and Aditya Roy Kapur. Kriti didn’t give an answer to this but dropped a hint of some flirting between the two actors.
Kriti also revealed that she auditioned for Student of the Year and why her mother asked her to not take up Karan Johar’s ‘Lust Stories’. "My mom said no to your role because she was not comfortable with the nature of the script, given the focus of it was only on sensual scenes. That is why she said better not to do it. I come from a middle-class family and for them, controversial themes like these can be a little shocking. But I don't always ask my mother," Kriti told Karan.
