New Delhi: Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are blissfully married. Alia Bhatt's marriage to RK, the most eligible bachelor in Bollywood, shattered the hearts of millions of people. But, you may be surprised to know that Alia is not Ranbir’s ‘first wife’. In an interview with Mashable, Ranbir, who is now promoting his next film Shamshera, opened up about his personal life like never before.
During the interview, Ranbir was asked to describe his most unforgettable fan encounter. In response, Ranbir remembered an incident in which a female fan married the gate of his Mumbai mansion.
He said, “There was a girl and I never met her. But my watchman told me that she came with a pundit and she married my gate. There was some ‘teeka’ on the gate and some flowers too. So, that’s quite crazy. I haven’t met my first wife yet, so I look forward to meeting you at some point.”
We definitely hope to meet his "first wife" at some point in the future!
In the same interview, Ranbir also mentioned his ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ co-star Anushka Sharma and said, “We’re really close friends and we annoy each other a lot, we keep fighting. We have good creative energy.”
After seeing the stunning trailer for Ranbir Kapoor's next film, Shamshera, fans are already excited about the actor's comeback as their hero. On the 22nd of July, the historical action drama directed by Karan Malhotra will be released in theatres.
