New Delhi: Ranbir Kapoor's new dance number 'Show Me The Thumka' from his upcoming movie 'Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar' is making headlines for its choreography and music. Since its release, the dance moves by Ranbir and Shraddha have become a topic of discussion on social media. Netizens have in fact sparked a debate on who is the best dancer in Bollywood.
A tweet by a fan which read, "Ranbir is the best dancer after Madhuri Dixit", caused the debate. While some people on Twitter concurred with the user, many others thought that other actors like Varun Dhawan, Govinda, Shahid Kapoor, and Hrithik Roshan were better dancers than him.
A person agreeing with him wrote, "He is a very effortless dancer." While there were many others who said that Tiger Shroff or Hrithik Roshan are better dancers than him. To this a user wrote, "Well, I don't like Hrithik/Tiger kinda robotics coz mostly lack of soul. Ranbir has this charm but none of his songs are as memorable for dancing. I bet you can dub Breakup song or any of his songs on this & have no difference. Shahid Kapoor? but of course personal preference.".
Another fan of Shahid Kapoor said, "disagree on Ranbir clearly but I like shahid a great deal too! probably the most light-footed one of them?", while a fan of Hrithik Roshan said, "Have you watched Hrithik?"
Talking about Govinda, Hrithik and Shahid, a user sarcastically said, "Govinda, Hrithik, and Shahid gathering in the corner and laughing.", while another one tried to include Varun Dhawan in the debate as well and tweeted, "I'm not sure about him being the best but certainly a very good one. I don't think anyone in Bollywood dances with so many expressions now, the style has changed a lot. I guess Varun Dhawan comes close, what do you think?"
Apart from all this, a fan makes a separate tweet calling him "the male version of Madhuri Dixit"
Talking about the film 'Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar', it stars Anubhav Singh Bassi, Dimple Kapadia, Boney Kapoor, Hasleen Kaur, Rajesh Jais and Ayesha Raza along with Ranbir and Shraddha. Directed by Luv Ranjan, it is slated to hit the theatres on the auspicious occasion of Holi, which is on March 8.
