New Delhi: Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Mukesh Ambani, announced his engagement to his longtime girlfriend Radhika Merchant on Thursday. For their engagement party. In honour of their recent engagement, the Ambanis invited their closest friends to their Mumbai mansion. Antilla was decorated and many B-town celebs including Ranbir Kapoor, Shah Rukh Khan, Alia Bhatt, and Janhvi Kapoor were present at the extravagant event.
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, who became parents this November to their daughter Raha, made their first public appearance on Thursday, at the engagement reception for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. The event was Alia and Ranbir's first public outing as a parent-and-child duo since they were both photographed individually after becoming parents.
Ranbir wore a black kurta pyjama and jacket, while Alia wore a sky blue sharara. Director Ayan Mukerji, was also seen hanging out with the happy couple.
‘Cirkus’ actor Ranveer Singh looked sharp with black jeans and a velvet jacket. He accessorized with a necklace and goggles.
Actress Sagarika Ghosh and her husband, Zaheer Khan, a former cricket player, were also in attendance.
Janhvi Kapoor showed up in an ombre pink embellished saree. Her hair was left curled gently to one side. Her friend Orhan Awatramani was also dressed in pink kurta pyjamas and was seen enthusiastically taking part in the festivities.

As per Vogue India, Radhika and Anant have known each other since childhood. Radhika is a Political and Economics graduate from New York University. She happens to be the daughter of industrialist Viren Merchant, the CEO and Vice Chairman of Encore Healthcare.
