New Delhi: After Rakhi Sawant faced flak from actress-model Sherlyn Chopra for supporting filmmaker-producer Sajid Khan's participation in 'Bigg Boss 16', the latter filed a defamation case against Sheryln. Now, in a recent update, an FIR has been registered against Rakhi Sawant and her advocate  Falguni Brahmbhatt under IPC sections 354A, 500, 504, 509 & IT ACT 67A, reported Times Now.

As per an ANI tweet, "FIR registered against actress Rakhi Sawant & adv Falguni Brahmbhatt under multiple sections of IPC & IT Act on complaint of an actress. The complainant alleges that the 2 showed an objectionable video of her during a press conference & used objectionable language: Mumbai Police."

Like many other celebrities, Sherlyn Chopra had called out Colors channel for having Sajid Khan participate in the reality show 'Bigg Boss 16'. She even loged a complaint against the director last month, reports suggested. Meanwhile, when Rakhi Sawant defended Sajid Khan's right to work, Rakhi had told the paparazzi that the police know which complaint has merit and which does not.

A Times Now report quotes her as saying to the paps, "Uske khilaf kisine gawahi nahin diya, court ne Sajid Khan ko saza-e-faasi ya kala paani ki saza hi nahin di. Tum makeup 4 kilo ka laga ke, saree pehen ke, media ke samne dusro pe dosh lagate ho. Sharam nahin ati tumhe? Chullu bhar paani me doob nahin jati tum" ( No one testified against Sajid Khan in court and neither has he been punished by the court. You wear 4kgs makeup, a saree and appear in front of the media and blame others. Don't you feel ashamed...)

For the unaware, Sajid Khan is a famous filmmaker who has made films like the 'Houseful' franchise. During the filming of 'Houseful 4', allegations of sexual harrassment had surfaced against him by multiple women. Sajid Khan had then stepped down from his directorial duties during the time. Like Sheryln, several members of the industry like Ali Fazal, Sona Mohapatra and Uorfi Javed among others have called out Sajid's participation in the show.
