New Delhi: Sidhu Moose Wala was recognized as one of the best Punjabi rappers and singers because of his groundbreaking music. His unexpected death on May 29 of last year shocked the world. Today (April 7), the family of the singer unveiled Mera Na by Sidhu Moose Wala, a previously unheard track that included a collaboration with Steel Banglez and Grammy winner Burna Boy.

The song is about how Sidhu's name is plastered all over the place, including on billboards, in newspaper headlines, and even in the arms of his many fans.  The usage of visual effects helps make the video more interesting. Moreover, Burma Boy's rap makes the tune even more memorable. The verse he added to the tune was a welcome dose of hip-hop.

In November, Burna Boy, a Nigerian artist, visited the home of the late singer's parents, Balkaur Singh Sidhu and Charan Kaur, to get their blessing.

The song was announced via a post on Sidhu Moosewala's Instagram. The post was with the caption, "Mera Na Out Now."

In every way, this song and its accompanying video serve as a homage to a tragically young celebrity who will not be forgotten.

Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead in Punjab's Mansa district on May 29 when he was on his way to Jawahar Ke village in Mansa in a jeep with his friend and cousin. His vehicle was waylaid and bullets were sprayed on him by six shooters.

After the killing, Goldy Brar, a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, claimed responsibility for the murder.

Punjab Police had confirmed that gangster Lawrence Bishnoi has admitted to being the mastermind of the murder of the singer and was plotting the murder since August last year.
