New Delhi: One of the movies that people are most looking forward to seeing is ‘Adipurush’, which stars Prabhas and Kriti Sanon. The film is directed by Om Raut, and it also stars Sunny Singh and Saif Ali Khan in significant parts. The date of the film's debut in theatres was scheduled for the 12th of January, 2023. According to a recent report, the filmmakers have opted to redo the whole VFX section of the film, at a cost of an estimated Rs 100 crore. The film may not be completed until later than Summer 2023 due to the need for more visual effects work.
The production team behind ‘Adipurush’ has reached the conclusion that the release date should be pushed. The movie will now debut in theatres on June 16, 2023, and will be shown in many formats, including 3D and IMAX.

The teaser of the Prabhas-starrer was released in Ayodhya on October 2 instantly creating controversies for many reasons. The film was earlier trolled for its poor VFX which was visible in its teaser. Then the Home Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Narottam Mishra objected to Lord Hanuman being depicted in a 'leather costume'.
