New Delhi: With 'Darlings', her web debut, Alia Bhatt took home a huge win at the Filmfare OTT Awards. Several other celebrities attended the event as well, such as Manoj Bajpayee, who won the best actor (male) award for his role in 'Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai'. Sonam Kapoor, who debuted on the web this year as well, attended the star-studded event.
Alia showed up at the event wearing a black body-hugging saree-inspired outfit. On the red carpet, Shaheen Bhatt, an author and producer, accompanied her sister. Alia was seen at the event signing autographs for fans and blowing kisses at the paparazzi.
Meanwhile, the best series award went to Hansal Mehta's 'Scoop', starring Karishma Tanna, whereas critics chose 'Trial By Fire' as the finest series. In the male category, Vijay Varma won the best actor series, while Rajshri Deshpande won the best actress in the female category. Randeep Jha took home the best director critics' award, while Vikramaditya Motwane won the best director series for 'Jubilee'. For their respective series, 'Scoop' and 'Dahaad', Karishma Tanna and Sonakshi Sinha tied for best actor series (female).
On the other hand, Alia Bhatt and Kareena Kapoor Khan showed up in the eighth season of Koffee With Karan. She was also recently honored with the best actress award for their path-breaking performance in 'Gangubai Kathiawadi'. The awards ceremony took place at the Vigyan Bhawan in Delhi on October 17. Alia, accompanied by her husband Ranbir Kapoor.
On the work front, Alia Bhatt was last seen in Karan Johar's 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani.' The actress also made her Hollywood debut this year with Gal Gadot starrer 'Heart Of Stone.' Alia is currently shooting for Vasan Bala's 'Jigra.'
