New Delhi: The nominations for the much-anticipated 94th Academy Awards are out!
Securing nominations in all major categories, including Best Film and Best Director are 'Dune', 'The Power Of The Dog', 'Belfast' and 'West Side Story'. Actress Kristen Stewart, who rose to fame with 'The Twilight Saga', has finally managed to get nominated in the Best Actress category for her film 'Spencer'. She will be competing for the title with Olivia Coleman for 'The Lost Daughter', Jessica Chastain for 'The Eyes Of Tommy Faye', Penelope Cruz for 'Parallel Mothers' and Nicole Kidman for 'Being The Ricardos'.
Actors Javier Bardem, Will Smith, Andrew Garfield, Denzel Washington and Benedict Cumberbatch have been nominated in the Best Actor category.
In the Best Picture category, ten films are competing for the title. The nominated movies are Belfast, Coda, Don't Look Up, Drive My Car, Dune, King Richard, Licorice Pizza, Nightmare Alley, The Power of The Dog, West Side Story.
The Indian documentary feature 'Writing With Fire', has managed to secure a nomination in the Best Documentary Feature category. Directed by Rintu Thomas and Sushmit Ghosh, the documentary chronicles the rise of Khabar Lahariya, India's only newspaper run by Dalit women. It also follows the team's shift from print to digital format.

The nominations for Oscars 2022 were unveiled in a live-streamed ceremony, hosted by actors Leslie Jordan and Tracie Ellis Ross. Oscars 2022 will be held on March 27.
