New Delhi: Neha Kakkar will be soon returning to television to judge the singing show 'Indian Idol 13'. The singer who is quite often spotted getting emotional as a judge has even been called a 'cry baby. Many label her so and despite having a section of audience which supports her, Neha has been called out many times for breaking down quite easily. However, Neha has a response to call those who criticize her for being too emotional. In a recent interaction, Neha mentioned that she has no regrets showing her emotions on camera.


Telling ETimes that she has that quality of empathizing with others' pain, Neha added,“I have that quality in me and I have no regrets about it." Neha also addressed the debate around reality shows being called sob stories. Saying that those shows are not 'drama', Neha honestly added that the elements are added to keep the show interesting.


The 'Second Hand Jawaani' track singer also added that this element was added to help audience form relatability with contestants, and said, "We are just showing on the show what happens in our homes.”


Neha, has on previous occasions, handed out cheques to participants to help them financially on the previous seasons of 'Indian Idol'. As a judge on the show, she has gone out of her way to make some contestants feel at home.


Neha Kakkar is a well-known Indian playback singer known for a variety of songs, many of which have gone on to become chartbusters. Neha also happens to have a massive social media following of about 70.4 million people on Instagram alone. 


Neha has also appeared on the Top 20-30 list of many polls for being a game changer artist in the music industry.
