New Delhi: Recently, actress Nayanthara and her husband, filmmaker Vignesh Shivan, paid a visit to the Kumbakonam temple and had a pooja in honour of Panguni Uthiram. On social media, a video clip from their visit has surfaced in which Nayanthara is heard threatening to smash someone's phone if they try to record her.

In the video clip that has surfaced online, Nayanthara can be heard telling the person, "One more time (if you film) and I’ll break your phone."
One of Nayanthara's staff members can be seen asking the crowd not to pull out their phones after the actress has warned the fan. Nayanthara dressed in a white and blue attire for the visit. Vignesh chose for khaki trousers, a white jacket and a blue T-shirt.
