The wait is finally over! The makers of ‘The Conjuring 3’ have finally released the trailer of the much-awaited film. The supernatural horror drama, also known as ‘The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It’, is based on the trial of Arne Cheyenne Johnson.
Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga, who played paranormal investigators in the earlier installment, are reprising their respective roles as Ed and Lorraine Warren. The movie promises to keep the audience hooked to their seats with spine-chilling horrifying visuals and drama.
Ed and Lorraine will have to deal with devil once again as they go against the supernatural power to prove Arne Cheyenne Johnson’s (Ruairi O'Connor) innocence in a criminal case. Arne claimed that he was possessed by a demon when he killed his landlord.
How they win the battle against the devil forms the crux of the story. Interestingly, the makers have set the film against the backdrop of Connecticut, taking inspiration from a real life case.
‘The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It’ is slated to hit the silver screens in the United States on June 4, 2021. The highly anticipated flick was originally supposed to release on September 11, 2020; however, it got delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The movie co-starring Sarah Catherine Hook, and Julian Hilliard will also release on the HBO Max streaming service.
Indian audience can watch ‘The Conjuring 3’ in different languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and English. It is the eighth film in ‘The Conjuring’ Universe franchise. The franchise has grossed a combined $1.9 billion, emerging as the second biggest horror franchise after ‘Godzilla’.
