Despite clashing with Deepika Padukone's 'Chhapaak', Ajay Devgn, Saif Ali Khan and Kajol starrer 'Tanhaji: The Unsung Her' took a flying start at the box-office on opening day and witnessed an impressive jump on second day. Directed by Om Raut, the period drama raked in Rs. 35.67 crore in first two days. The film is setting the box-office on fire and continued to set the cash registers ringing on third day as well. The collections of 'Tanhaji: The Unsung Hero' escalated further on Sunday and the film has a heroic first weekend as it crossed Rs. 60 crore mark.


On Saturday, 'Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior' has collected Rs. 26.08 crore thereby making the grand total to Rs. 61.75 crores. The film is set to become this year's frst film to enter the coveted 100 crore club very soon.

Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the film's second day box office collection on Twitter. He wrote, "#Tanhaji has a heroic weekend... Footfalls, occupancy, numbers multiply on Day 2 and 3... Sets BO on fire on Day 3... #Maharashtra is exceptional... Other circuits witness big turnaround on Day 2 and 3... Fri 15.10 cr, Sat 20.57 cr, Sun 26.08 cr. Total: ₹ 61.75 cr. #India biz."
