Taapsee shared a picture of her photoshoot with photographer Avinash Gowariker in New Delhi on Instagram. In what seems to be a repost of Gowariker’s instagram post, he had written “#PostPackUpShot today withTaapsee on her Birthday Eve..in her hometown !!”
She also recently shared a picture of the wrap up of Judwaa2 shoot with a caption “Anndd it’s a wrap on Project Number 22 Such a perfect Schedule to end it with. See u in theatres on 29th September 2017”

Born and brought up in Delhi, Taapsee initially worked as a software professional. She got her first major break when she was selected for Channel V’s talent show Get Gorgeous. That’s what led Taapsee to full time modelling career. Taapsee appeared in many TV commercials and also bagged titles like “Pantaloons Femina Miss Fresh Face” and “Saifi Femina Miss Beautiful Skin” at the Femina Miss India Contest, 2008. "
After a short sojourn in modelling, Taapsee moved forward with her acting interests. Before moving to Bollywood, Taapsee had proved her mettle in the films of South. Her first ever cinematic appearance was in the year 2010 in Telugu film ‘Jhummandi Naadam’. She made her debut in Tamil Cinema opposite of Dhanush in the year 2011 with the film ‘Aadukalam’ which received six National Film Awards. She also had a short stint in Malayalam films.
In 2013, the actress made her Bollywood Debut with David Dhawan’s Chashme Baddoor with Siddharth, Rishi Kapoor, Ali Zafar and Divyendu Sharma. Then in the year 2015, she starred in the critically acclaimed film “Baby” against Akshay Kumar and was lauded for her part. Pannu shot into prominence with Shoojit Sarcar’s “Pink” in which she acted with Amitabh bachchan and played the lead role in the movie. She again played the lead role in Naam Shabana, a prequel to Baby. She did another critically acclaimed film ‘The Ghazi Attack’.
Taapsee had landed in controversy after she had tweeted about ‘nepotism’ even before Kangana back in December and people assumed that it was directed at her Judwaa 2 co-star Varun Dhawan and Suneil Shetty’s son Ahaan, who was supposed to do a role in the same. Later this year, Taapsee clarified that it wasn’t directed at any of them.
This year, Bollywood will see the release of two of her films ‘Tadkaa’ and ‘Judwaa 2’. Wishing her even more films in her cart ..Happy Thirtieth.
