“We have concluded our conclusive report. It is a case of hanging and death by suicide. There were no injuries on the body other than of hanging. There were no marks of struggle/scuffle on the body and clothes of the deceased,” Dr Sudhir Gupta, Chairman of AIIMS Forensic Medical Board, was quoted as saying by ANI.
The AIIMS report rejected the claims of 'poisoning' and 'strangling' made by Sushant Singh Rajput’s family and their lawyer. Kangana Ranaut, who has been quite vocal about the 'unfair treatment of outsiders' in Bollywood post Sushant's demise, strongly reacted to the AIIMS report.
"Young and extraordinary individuals don’t just wake up one fine day and kill themselves. Sushant said he was being bullied and outcast, he feared for his life, he said movie mafia banned him and harassed him, he was mentally affected by being falsely accused of rape #AIIMS," the Panga' actress tweeted.
The 'Manikarnika' actress posted another tweet and demanded answers for three questions.
"With latest progress we need answers to few questions.
1) SSR repeatedly spoke about big production houses banning him. Who are these people who conspired against him?
2) Why media spread false news about him being a rapist?
3) Why was Mahesh Bhatt doing his psychoanalysis?," Ranaut wrote.
The ‘Raabta’ actor’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti also shared a post on social media after AIIMS ruled out the theory of murder in SSR’s case. She posted a picture of Sushant along with the caption, “We will win.”
‘Bigg Boss 11’ contestant Vikas Gupta, who was a good friend of Sushant, also reacted to the AIIMS’ report. He tweeted, “I want to know Why more than how did he die? Deep down I will be relieved if its suicide cause Choosing between #SushantSinghRajput ending his life Vs some1 killing him while he is fighting to survive. It’s less painful Why is he dead is what I truly wish #CBI tells us today.”

'Thappad' director Anubhav Sinha posted a cryptic tweet on the micro-blogging site. He wrote, "What took ‘others’ 3.5 months to establish was established by the @MumbaiPolice in 3.5 days. Metaphorically speaking. Ok?"
Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his apartment on June 14. Three Central agencies including the CBI, the NCB and the ED are investigating the high-profile case.
