Richa Chadha took to her Twitter and said that the only time we think caste is dead is when it doesn’t affect us directly in anyway. The ‘Masaan’ actress also urged people to check out the Sunday matrimonial and note that all the ads are from urban centres. Highlighting the words ‘Innocent Divorcee’, ‘Non Kashyap’, ‘Homely Girl’, ‘Non Manglik’ among others, she added that she was not aware of her privilege/reservation till college.
The actress’ tweet read, “Caste is not dead. Check out the Sunday matrimonial to see for yourself. Please note, all ads are from urban centres. The only time we think Caste is dead is when it doesn’t affect us directly in anyway. I wasn’t aware of my privilege/reservation issue till after college.”
A few days back, the ‘Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela’ actress shared a cozy picture with her cat and wrote that it sums up her lockdown life. Her caption read, “This picture sums up #lockdownlife perfectly ... this cat is chipkoo, unusually so. She’s cutely lurking around. Even as I type this, she’s here. Lockdown has connected me deeper with my pets.....ये फ़ोटो Lockdown का प्रतीक है... ये बिल्ली बहुत चिपकू है... ये आस पास मंडराती रहती है... इतनी चिपकू की ये comment type करते वक़्त भी यहीं है...lockdown में मैं अपनी बिल्लियों के और क़रीब आयी हूँ...”
On the professional front, Richa Chadha will be next seen starring in the lead role of ‘Madam Chief Minister’, which is being directed by Subhash Kapoor.
