Ranveer Singh Visits Salon For Look Test Of Zoya Akhtar's Next? Actor's Hairstylist Shares PIC

Ranveer Singh’s hairstylist posted a picture of himself with the ‘Gully Boy’ star during the time of COVID-19. Speculations are doing the rounds that the actor was there for his look test for his next project with Zoya Akhtar.

New Delhi: With the commencement of lockdown, many industries came to a halt including the Entertainment industry. Many actors have been seen utilising their time by engaging themselves in different activities during this period. Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have been making the most of their quarantine time together. The couple keeps on sharing glimpses of their life in their social media. Since the time the ‘Unlock 1.0’ started in the country, Bollywood industry is also setting its foot back to work.

With reports of Akshay Kumar commencing his shoot for ‘Bell Bottom’ from next month, it now seems that Ranveer Singh is also gearing up for his next with Zoya Akhtar.

Darshan Yewalekar, who is Ranveer Singh’s hairstylist, shared a picture with the ‘Ramleela’ star a couple of days back on Instagram. This picture takes us into conjecturing the fact that the actor might be starting with his work soon.

In the picture, Ranveer Singh can be seen donning the ‘all black’ look from top to bottom. He can be seen wearing a black hat and black mask as well. The hairstylist captioned the picture as, “The New Normal visit by @ranveersingh to @dshavebarbershop #barber #barbershop #barberlife”

According to a report in Times Of India, the ‘Padmaavat’ actor will be creating two distinct characters in Zoya Akhtar’s next crime drama directorial. One character will be of an undercover cop while the other will be of a gangster. In the face of all the restrictions, the ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ director was keen on the star’s look test by maintaining all the precautionary measures. The report also added that the film will star Katrina Kaif.

According to a report of Pinkvilla, “Ranveer wants to make a strong impression with the first look and hence, went to Darshan’s salon well ahead of the look test. The duo is in the process of creating two diverse avatars for him. While he will be clean-shaven for his cop act, the actor wants to try a dramatic look for the portions that will see him as a mole in the world of gangsters. Ranveer wore a mask and maintained social distancing as he ventured out after almost four months.”

Ranveer Singh and Darshan Yewalekar have worked together in several projects before including Padmaavat, Bajirao Mastani, Gully Boy and 83.
