New Delhi: The world was officially introduced to actor Priyanka Chopra Jonas and her husband Nick Jonas' daughter today. Musician Nick Jonas and his brothers Kevin and Joe attended the Jonas Brothers Walk of Fame ceremony, where her face was revealed.
A few weeks after Malti Marie turned one, Chopra showed her face to the public for the first time. During the ceremony, a picture of Malti Marie in her mother's arms was captured. The kid was dressed in a cream tweed suit with a white headband.
Malti's face was captured on camera as she listened to her father's remarks about her on stage in a video that Chopra shared on Instagram of her and Malti at the event.
Malti Marie's pictures are currently trending on social media. Take a look at them here:
She was born last year through surrogacy to Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas. Later, the couple disclosed that she was born prematurely soon and spent more than 100 days in the NICU.
“After 100 plus days in the NICU, our little girl is finally home. Every family’s journey is unique and requires a certain level of faith, and while ours was a challenging few months, what becomes abundantly clear, in retrospect, is how precious and perfect every moment is. We are overjoyed that our little girl is finally home, and just want to thank every Doctor, nurse and specialist at Rady Children’s La Jolla and Cedar Sinai, Los Angeles, who were there selflessly every step of the way. Our next chapter begins now, and our baby is truly a badass. Let’s get it MM! Mommy and Daddy love you,” Chopra wrote in her post.
Recently, Priyanka Chopra said comments about Malti were inappropriate in an interview with British Vogue. She said that while she has grown accustomed to hearing negative things said about her, it still hurts when others criticise her kid.
In Jodhpur's Umaid Bhawan Palace, on December 1 and 2, 2018, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas got married in Christian and Hindu ceremonies.
On the professional front, Priyanka will appear in international ventures including 'It's All Coming Back To Me' and the television series 'Citadel'. She will feature in Farhan Akhtar's 'Jee Le Zaraa', a Bollywood film, alongside Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif. According to reports, filming will begin soon.
