A major fire has broke out on the top floor of a high rise in Mumbai's Worli area where Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone lives as one of the residents. Reports suggest no one has been injured yet. The Mumbai Police have said its staff and firefighting personnel are at the spot. "They are trying to do their best and douse the fire," the Mumbai Police said on Twitter.

Reports suggest the top two floors of the building are badly affected. The building is part of a twin set of residential towers, one of which has a triangle-structure at the top and the other, an inverted triangle. The name of the building is the 'Beaumonde'. Reportedly, the fire has broken out in the building with the inverted triangle. Four fire-tenders have rushed to the spot.

The cause of fire is yet not known and fire tenders are in a process of dousing off. As per latest reports 90 residents have been rescued.
