Mumbai: Superstar Aamir Khan says he is unhappy that he has started smoking again, but assured that he would give it up after the release of his film "Dangal".
With the pre-release nervousness of his much-awaited film 'Dangal", Aamir has taken up smoking again.
Prior to release of his films, the 51-year-old star gets very nervous and starts smoking. It had also happened during the time of release of his films like "PK", "Dhoom 3" and "Talaash".
"Yes, it has started again. I am stressed about the film. But I will give up after its release," he said.
Akshay Kumar had recently said on celebrity chat show "Koffee with Karan" that those who do not smoke and drink, their stardom will remain intact.
However, Aamir said, "I am not happy that I am smoking again. I try not to smoke. But when my film is about to release I get nervous so I start smoking again but then I stop it as well. I don't think smoking has anything to do with acting. Due to smoking health will be affected. I tell everyone not to smoke and even I try not to smoke."
In another episode of "Koffee with Karan", superstar Shah Rukh Khan had said that he would like to be the "4th Idiot" (referring to the sequel of "3 Idiots").
To this, Aamir said he would love to work with Shah Rukh. "Dangal" is a very special film for Aamir as he has undergone extreme body transformation for the role of wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat.
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, "Dangal" is based on the life of Haryana-based wrestler Mahavir, who trained his daughters Geeta and Babita to make it big in the field of wrestling.
Produced by Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao and co-produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur, the film releases on December 23.
However, the "Fanaa" actor was not willing to speak on the alleged controversy surrounding Ranveer Singh and his advertisement.
"I don't know about the ad. I haven't seen the ad. What ad it is," he said.
