Akshay Kumar who created a stir with his tweet hinting at a new project, with headlines speculating if he is contesting the Lok Sabha Elections on BJP ticket! The actor in a few hours down, denied the reports with yet another tweet. His first tweet that created confusion read- "Getting into an unknown and uncharted territory today. Doing something I have never done before. Excited and nervous both. Stay tuned for updates." And now it is almost certain that the 'Housefull 4' actor was referring to the hindi remake of Raghava Lawrence's hit Tamil horror-comedy, 'Muni 2 - Kanchana'. The film is tentatively titled 'Laxmi' in hindi. Akshay is playing the lead role of the man who gets possessed by a transgender woman in the film. Akshay began shooting for the same and it began with a song sequence called 'Bismillah'.

Times Now report states that The actor was spotted filming a crazy song sequence at a resort in Borivali (Mumbai) this afternoon. Also present on the set was Tusshar Kapoor who as per reports is said to be co-producing Kanchana remake.

Their source adds - "The song is titled, Bismillah. The set up looked quite spooky with a bunch of spiritual babas in black, getting beaten up by people. Akshay however was seen keeping it cool and casual wearing a pair of pink shorts and a white shirt."

Akshay is yet to officially announce about the same but his die hard fans already speculated 'Kanchana' the reason behind his tweet on Monday.

Also there were speculations over his upcoming Amazon Prime Time webseries 'The End'.

But after this latest revelation of the song shoot for 'Kanchana' remake, all speculations can be put to rest since nothing beats Akshay acting a a transgender woman in the horror comedy.

Some reports also say that before beginning with shooting Rohit Shetty's 'Sooryavanshi' opposite Katrina Kaif, Akshay will along with this song, shoot some initial scenes of 'Laxmi' too.
