When the trailer of Akshay Kumar starrer 'Kesari' was released last month, soon after, hilarious memes and jokes surfaced on the social media and the most popular among them was one using Ajay Devgn's tagline from pan masala brand "zubaan kesari". The film 'Kesari' is a film on the historical Battle of Saragarhi telling the story of the brave 21 Sikh soldiers who stood strong against the 10,000 Afghan soldiers. Akshay's dialogue in the trailer goes "ajj meri pagdi wi kesari, jo bahega mera lahoo bhi kesari aur mera jawaab bhi kesari". During a film event on Friday, while interacting with media, Akshay was asked a question in connection with this, although with a twist. The journalist asked: "Your film Kesari tells us about the true meaning of of this colors, this is a color of sacrifice, valor and bravery but doesn't it bother you when you have a contemporary who is using the same color but he has used it in a product with tobacco?" Akshay: "wo(pointing at the journo) kesar aur kesari ko dono ko mix kar gaye!" Journo: "i am not naming the brand" Akshay: "that's ok! aap name Ad pata nahi beech mei kahan se le aaye! Matlab hum kahin aur ja rahe hain paaji tussi kitthe aur chale gaye ho![laughter in ambience] Koi gal ni koi gal ni!" Akshay: "lekin paaji i don't think like that.. maine kabhi zindagi mei apne khawaab mei bhi nahi socha tha ki aisa prashn mere paas aayega[Parineeti bursts into laughter]. Lekin.. koi baat nahi! Iske  baare mei jaisa aapne mujhse prashn poochha uska uttar mai saari zindagi laga loon mai nahi de paunga. To paaji i am sorry mere paas nahi hai uska uttar!" Akshay's co-star Parineeti, film's director Anurag Singh and producer Karan Johar were also part of the event. Akshay had film's cast and crew sitting beside him during the media interaction. Also, talking about his film, Akshay urged the youth to watch the film, saying - "It is sad that though the British celebrate Saragarhi Day, remembering the martyrs of the war, but we Indians do not know much about it. It is sad how an incident like this has got lost in the pages of history." "So, I would like to urge all the parents to show the film to their children. Our youngsters should know about our war heroes. This is also an educational film. It is a true incident and based on real characters." 'Kesari' is scheduled to release on 21st Arpil next month.
