Twitter has permanently suspended Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut’s account for repeatedly violating ‘hateful conduct’ policy. The social networking site suspended her account after the ‘Panga’ actress shared tweets on the post-poll violence that took place in West Bengal.

Fashion and textile designer Anand Bhushan issued a statement to inform that his company has decided to remove the collaboration images with Kangana from their social media handles. He also vowed to not work with the ‘Queen’ star in the future, stating that his brand doesn’t ‘support hate speech’.

"In view of certain events today, we have taken a decision to remove all collaboration images with Kangana Ranaut from our social media. We also pledge never to be associated with her in any capacity in the future. We as a brand do not support hate speech," Bhushan said in a statement. He tweeted "Do the right thing" while posting the statement.

Swara Bhasker lauded for 'calling out hate speech' on social media. She wrote, "Pleasantly surprised to see this! Kudos to you @AnandBhushan
& #RimzimDadu for calling out hate speech and incitement to genocide in a direct manner! Stand tall you guys!"

Kangana, while talking to ANI, said that she would use other platforms to raise her voice and express her opinion after Twitter suspended her account. The 'Manikarnika' actress has often grabbed eyeballs with her controversial tweets on different issues in the past one year. Be it her tiff with Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut or her war of words with Diljit Dosanjh, Ranaut has remained in headlines due to her social media posts.

Last year, the National Award winning actress had received flak from comparing Mumbai to Pakistan Occupied Kashmir in her tweet.

On the professional front, Kangana will be next seen in 'Thalaivi'. The movie was slated to hit the silver screens on April 23, 2021; however, the makers delayed the release due to the COVID-19 crisis. She is essaying the role of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa in the much-awaited flick.
