NEW DELHI: In 2000s, Salman Khan's career was going through an ugly phase. During that time, he bagged a film that gave back his lost stardom, 'Wanted'. After that it was the role of 'Chulbul Pandey' in 'Dabangg' that elevated his popularity. Now, in the tug-of-war between the sequels of these two movies, Salman declared 'Wanted' as victorious.

Confused? Makers of 'Wanted' and 'Dabangg' are all set to come up with sequels. While it would be the third film in the 'Dabangg' franchise, Prabhudeva's 'Wanted' will be having its first sequel. Grapevines are abuzz with reports about Arbaaz Khan being miffed with brother Salman, courtesy 'Wanted 2'. Salman has given nod for 'Wanted' sequel, which apparently means that Arbaaz Khan's directorial has again been pushed to the back burner. Arbaaz couldn't start working on the third instalment of the franchise because of his younger brother's tight schedule.

                                  Salman Khan's look from 'Wanted'

A source informed Deccan Chronicle, "Arbaaz Khan has been planning to direct Dabangg 3 for the longest time but his brother Salman's tight schedule isn't letting Dabangg 3 to happen. Salman, who finished Tubelight and shooting Tiger Zinda Hai will start Wanted 2 soon after which is why Dabangg 3 has been pushed. And Arbaaz isn’t exactly pleased with this development and is upset with Salman."

What made Sallu take this decision? Well, according to a report in mid-day, Salman wants to mend ties with Boney Kapoor as their last collaboration, the sequel of 'No Entry' (2005) failed to materialise. The reason behind it is said to be Bhaijaan's lack of interest in the project. We would all agree that Salman owes to Boney Kapoor's 'Wanted'.

'Dabangg' fans, now you have to wait a bit longer.
