New Delhi: The sudden demise of Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan has shocked the entire film industry. The talented actor, last seen in Angrezi Medium’, passed away after complications due to colon infection. The ‘Paan Singh Tomar’ star, who diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumour in 2018, took his last breathe at Mumbai’s Kokilaben hospital on April 29, leaving the whole world in deep shock.


Irrfan Khan is survived by his wife Sutapda Sikdar and children Babil and Ayan Khan. He was laid to rest at Versova burial ground in Mumbai on Wednesday afternoon.

Sutapa took to Facebook to share a picture with her late husband along with a heartfelt message. She wrote, "I have not lost I have gained in every which way...."

Irrfan Khan's son Babil Khan took to his Instagram story to share a post to thank the fans. He expressed gratitude towards the fans for sending their condolences after the demise of his dad.

"I'm deeply grateful for all the condolences you beautiful friends are pouring in for me. Although, I hope you understand that right now I'm no being able to reply because my vocabulary is dizzy. I will get back to each one of you but just not right now. Thank you so much! I love you," Babil wrote.
