The news of Aamir Khan's nephew and actor Imran Khan's wedding with Avantika Malik hitting a rough patch surfaced on Tuesday after a leading daily quoted source saying "Avantika allegedly left 24, Pali Hill, Imran’s residence, a while ago with Imara. It is being said that she is currently staying with her family". The report was carried by multiple portals with some making speculations over their 'separation'. Last seen in 'Katti Batti' opposite Kangana Ranaut, Imran had tied the knot with Avantika 8 years ago in January, 2011 after dating for whole eight years. The couple's daughter Imara Malik Khan was born in June 2014.

As per the reports the couple is currently staying away from each other with Avantika moving back to her parents' house. And is there a divorce in process? Well, that questioned is answered by a family member herself. It is Avantika's mom and Imran's mother-in-law Vandana Malik who was approached by an online portal over the matter.

When contacted, Vandana reacted confirming the reports but only part of it and said- "We all (Vandana, Avantika and Imran) read the news and let me tell you that there’s no such thing. There are some differences (between the husband and wife), which will be sorted anyway."

And when asked if there's a probable divorce in the process, she denied it and told in.com, "Absolutely not."

DNA's report had stated the same in it's Tuesday report- "Eight years after tying the knot, Imran and Avantika have called for some time off in their marriage reportedly due to irreconcilable differences."

With many Bollywood couples' marriages going kaput lately(which included Farhan Akhtar-Adhuna Bhabani, Arjun Rampal-Mehr Jesia, Malaika Arora-Arbaaz Khan), the fans were worried about another couple falling apart but with Vandana Malik's reaction on reports, one can hope that they couple soon sorts their differences and gets back together.

On the Bollywood front, Imran featured in various films like 'Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na', 'Mere Brother Ki Dulhan', I Hate Luv Storys', 'Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu', 'Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola', 'Delhi Belly' & 'Katti Batti' among others after a successful debut. However, his career couldn't take off as expected. He also played childhood avatar of Mamu Aamir Khan as a little kid in superhit film like 'Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar' and 'Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak'.
