New Delhi: Over the past two years, many women from film industries across the world have stepped forward with their stories and experiences of sexual harassment under the world-wide social campaign #MeToo. The movement had touched the Indian shores in 2018 after Bollywood actress Tanushree Dutta accused actor Nana Patekar of sexually harassing her on the sets of the movie "Horn Ok Pleassss".

Following this, several actresses, models voiced their experiences and encouraged other women from all walks of life to speak against the harassment. The latest to join the row is a model named Dimple Paul who made some serious allegations against filmmaker Sajid Khan.

Popularly known as Paula, the model opened-up about her experience with filmmaker and alleged him of sexual harassment. Narrating the episode involving Sajid Khan that took place ten years ago, the model-turned-actor Dimple told Beyond Bollywood that after winning Mr & Miss Beauty Pageant, she was invited by Sajid Khan at his residence where he misbehaved with her.

In an interview, Dimple Paul further stated that Sajid Khan took her to his bedroom, put his hands on Pauls legs and inquired if the latter had any boyfriend.

Paul was quoted saying, "He told me that it’s an altogether different thing to have sex with a man. He told me that if it wasn’t for him, I wouldn't have won the pageant. He kept his hand on my leg and started rubbing it. He said something like you know Jiah Khan stood in the same place where I stand now."

Earlier today, the model took to her Instagram and shared a note saying that Sajid Khan spoke dirty to her and even asked her to strip in front of him. Paula also said that such people should be behind bars not only for casting couch but also for manipulating and for stealing away your dreams.

It is worth mentioning that Paula is not the first women to make such allegations against Sajid. During the 2018 #MeToo movement, many other celebrities including Rachel White, Saloni Chopra among others accused Farah Khan's brother, Sajid Khan of sexual harassment.
