NEW DELHI: Bollywood actor Govinda, who is all set to make a comeback with 'Aa Gaya Hero' is miffed with director Karan Johar for releasing 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania' a week after his film.

Govinda has high hopes for 'Aa Gaya Hero' which is slated to release on March 3. The actor is also upset with Karan for not inviting him to his show 'Koffee With Karan'. Here are five bitter remarks which Govinda made about Karan Johar:

1. On being asked whether he will be seen gracing Koffee With Karan's couch or not, Govinda replied in a satirical way: "He( Karan) must have said that it would be a matter of national respect for him if he calls Govinda, but he is releasing Varun's (Dhawan) film just a week after my film."

2. Karan Johar shows that he's very humble and innocent, but woh mujhe David (Dhawan) se zyaada jealous and zyaada khatarnak lagta hai," said the 'Partner' actor Govinda.

3.Opening about groupism in Bollywood, he said, "Karan has never called me in 30 years, he doesn't see actors who are not the part of his group and doesn't even say a hello, I doubt. He's not that kind-hearted. It's a well-planned and smart move by Karan that he's releasing his film a week after mine. Mujhe woh kabhi seedha nahi lagta hai. "

4. Earlier in an interview to The Indian Express, Govinda expressed his displeasure with Karan for not inviting him to his show. “If you see, Karan Johar never called me for any of his interviews. He has called comedians, singers, actors, newcomers and everyone else. Throw parties in which Govinda should never be seen. Many such things have happened with me. So I wouldn’t want any newcomers to be Govinda," revealed Govinda.

I have never got any big directors or producers, said the actor (PC-Instagram/6ovinda)

5. Talking about his absence from existing camps in Bollywood, he said "They must have thought Govinda is not a man of our class. God bless them. Bhayankar camps exist here. Inki badi milli bhagat hai. Mujhe koi gila shikwa nahi hai. I have never got any big directors or producers. The songs I got were the ‘Akhiyon se goli maare’ types. I did whatever I got.”

Govinda also hit out at Bollywood filmmaker David Dhawan and his son-actor Varun Dhawan (PC-SOLARIS IMAGES)

Govinda also lashed out at director David Dhawan with whom he has given a series of hit films in the 90s but their equation turned sour over the years. The actor was also unhappy over comparisons drawn between him and Varun Dhawan which he thinks is a 'fake one'.
