Mumbai: The news of legendary actor Dilip Kumar’s passing away shook the entire film industry. The actor breathed his last earlier today and the news of his death was confirmed by his family friend Faisal Farooqui.
While many celebrities have been paying tribute to the late actor on their social media, stars like Dharmendra, Anil Kapoor and others visited Dilip Kumar’s house after his death. The late actor was taken to his home after he passed away earlier today.
Shah Rukh Khan, who was very close to Dilip Kumar, also reached the ‘Mughal-e-Azam’ actor’s house to pay him tribute and offer condolences to Saira Banu. SRK was spotted arriving with his wife Gauri Khan at Dilip Kumar’s house.
Karan Johar has also been spotted arriving at Dilip Kumar’s house to pay his last visit.
Meanwhile, a police team has been spotted marching towards Dilip Kumar’s bungalow for his cremation which will be carried out with full state honors.
The news of Dilip Kumar's death was confirmed in a statement that read, "With a heavy heart and profound grief, I announce the passing away of our beloved Dilip Saab, few minutes ago. We are from God and to Him we return. - Faisal Farooqui'.
