New Delhi: Telugu superstar Nani is currently busy promoting his upcoming film 'Dasara' in all corners. While touring different locations for the film's promotions, Nani expressed his desire to collaborate with Aamir Khan. He also said he would want to share screen time with Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone.
Speaking to news agency IANS, the actor who has starred in hit films like 'Ashta Chamma' and 'Ride' among others, said, "I would love to work with Deepika Padukone as she is a marvellous actress and definitely if I get an opportunity and a right story, I would just love to be cast opposite her."
For his work in Telugu movies like "Ashta Chamma," "Ride," "Bheemili Kabaddi Jattu," "Ala Modalaindi," "Pilla Zamindar," "Eega," "Yeto Vellipoyindhi Manasu," "Yevade Subramanya," and many others, Nani is well-known. He received a lot of praise for his performance in the film 'Jersey' and also hosted the second season of "Bigg Boss Telugu."
The actor expressed his desire to work on a Rajkumar Hirani production as he talked about his particular love for Bollywood.
He added: "The one Bollywood director I really want to work with will be Rajkumar Hirani. I am just fond of the kind of movies he makes."
Talking about his favourite Bollywood star with whom he would like to work, he said, "I just wish to work with Aamir (Khan)sir. I enjoy watching his movies," adding that he will also watch Ajay Devgn's 'Bholaa'.
The actor also talked about his wife Anjana and her love for the movies starring him. He said, "She just loves watching my films and always goes for the morning show on the release date. She loves watching the film with the crowd."
Nani also opened up about his upcoming untitled project and said, "My next film will be completely opposite of 'Dasara'. I will be playing a father of a 6-year-old girl. There will be a completely different set up and my character is also going to be completely different from what I am playing in this movie."
'Dasara' is a period action adventure film starring Keerthy Suresh opposite Nani. The film also stars veteran actress Zareena Wahab. 'Dasara' releases in theatres on March 30, clashing at the box office with Ajay Devgn starrer 'Bholaa'.
