'Raees' Shah Rukh Khan and 'Sultan' Salman Khan won't lock horns at the box-office this EID.


As it is now confirmed that the release of Shahrukh Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Mahira khan starrer has been pushed to 26th of Jan 2017.

Earlier it was suppose to clash with Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer SULTAN, which is releasing on Eid, 2016.

 



But now the clash of biggies at the box-office has been averted.

After much contemplation, SRK and his producers Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar have moved their film to January next year.



In a joint statement issued by the Raees trio- Shah Rukh Khan, Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar they’ve stated, “It was not an easy decision to move the film. We understand that ‘Raees’ is highly anticipated. However, a film of such magnitude requires the appropriate showcasing and therefore, we have decided to shift our release date to 26th January 26, 2017".

Produced by Excel Entertainment and Red Chilles, the teaser of 'Raees' was released few months back stating that it will release this Eid.

The movie also stars Pak beauty Mahira Khan as female lead and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in a prominent role.
