New Delhi : The ongoing controversy over the 94 cuts in the film Udta Punjab is getting escalated as the censor board’s list of 13 pointers has been released. Censor board’s list suggesting the deletion of all the names of Punjab’s cities and deleting the name of the dog as ‘Jacky Chain’ are nothing but bizarre.

CBFC has also demanded to remove the abusive word from every scene. Moreover in the second last pointer, Censor board want the film-maker to change the disclaimer to,-“The Film focuses on the rising menace of the drugs and the war against drugs and is an attempt to show the ill-effects of drugs on today’s youth and the social fabric. We Acknowledge the battle against drugs being fought by the government and police. But this battle cannot be won unless the people of india unite against the menace.”
