New Delhi: Bajrangi Bhaijaan which featured Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor and the cutest Harshali Malhotra was one of the most appreciated films of the superstar in recent times. Salman Khan had recently announced that this popular movie will soon have a sequel.
The narrative is under works and is being written by none other than SS Rajamouli’s father, KV Vijayendra Prasad. It has also been revealed that the movie will go by the title ‘Pawan Putra Bhaijaan’.
Kabir Khan who directed ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ has confirmed that the sequel of the film is indeed underworks. In a recent interview with Mid Day, Kabir told how Salman announced the movie because of excitement and is calling the sequel ‘Pawan Putra Bhaijaan’.
When asked if he had read the script, the director revealed that he is yet to do so but has faith that KV Vijayendra would surely come up with something great. He further revealed that his only condition to direct the sequel of ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ is that there needs to be a great story. He would never make a sequel just because the first movie did well.
On the work front, Kabir Khan’s recent directorial venture ‘83’ is screening in cinemas. On the other hand, it seems to be a busy year for Salman Khan as he is currently busy in the making of ‘Tiger 3’ which is expected to release by the end of this year. Bhaijaan will also be seen featuring in ‘Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali’ with Pooja Hegde, ‘Kick 2’ with Jacqueline Fernandez and in the ‘No Entry’ sequel which is also in the pipeline. The actor will also be seen making special cameos in Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Pathan’ and Aamir Khan’s ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’.
