Mumbai: Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma's 'Sultan' may have opened to a thunderous response, but her character, Aarfa, has been facing a lot of backlash for choosing motherhood over career.

Addressing this criticism, the leading lady of 'Sultan' shared a post of former World No. 1 tennis star Victoria Azarenka's pregnancy announcement that well explained her character's decision in the film.

"Wanted to share this for those who couldn't understand Aarfa's decision in Sultan, maybe this will put things in perspective," she tweeted on Saturday.
