Bollywood couple Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary on Tuesday (April 20). The ‘Devdas’ actress shared a glimpse from their anniversary celebrations on social media. Abhishek couldn’t celebrate his anniversary with Aishwarya as he is busy shooting for his upcoming film ‘Dasvi’ in Lucknow. The ‘Bunty Aur Babli’ star, who is a doting husband, joined his wife and daughter Aaradhya Bachchan on a video call. The ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ actress shared a screenshot from their video call on her official Instagram handle. The picture said it all and didn’t require any caption.
Aishwarya and Aaradhya can be seen flashing their million dollar smiles while talking to Abhishek. Fans have flooded the comments section with their messages.
Shraddha Kapoor’s brother Siddhanth Kapoor also dropped a cute comment on the post. He wrote, “Awww, sweetest thing, AB junior is the most humble and kind man.”
Abhishek and Aishwarya, who have worked in several films, tied the knot on April 20, 2007 at Bachchan’s house Prateeksha. Some of their hit movies include ‘Dhoom 2’ and ‘Guru’. The couple was rumoured to be working together in Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Gulab Jamun’; however, gossip mills suggest that they have walked out of the movie as they had ‘issues with the script’.
Earlier this month, Aishwarya shared an adorable photo of Aaradhya wherein she can be seen dressed as Easter bunny. The photo went viral on the internet in no time.
Last year, Abhishek, Aishwarya, Aaradhya and Amitabh Bachchan had tested positive for COVID-19. They were admitted to a leading Mumbai hospital after they contracted the virus.
On the professional front, Abhishek was recently seen in ‘The Big Bull’, which premiered directorial on Disney+ Hotstar. He received praises from the critics and fans for his performance in the Kookie Gulati directorial. Junior Bachchan will be seen sharing screen space with Yami Gautam and Nimrat Kaur in ‘Dasvi’
Talking about Aishwarya, she will make her return to the silver screens with Mani Ratnam’s ‘Ponniyin Selvan’. Her last film ‘Fanney Khan’ released in 2018.
