New Delhi: The ‘KGF 2’ fever is just rising. The second installment of ‘KGF’, this Yash starrer has broken box office records everywhere.
According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, ‘KFG 2’ is the fastest film to enter the Rs. 200 crore club. Within its first week of release, the film has already reached the coveted benchmark of Rs 200 crores which most films only achieve in their second/third weeks at the box office.
As fans continue to share their reviews around the film on social media, a new development about ‘KGF’ has broken microblogging site Twitter.
A trend called ‘FreeKGF2tickets’ is buzzing on Twitter. It so happened that a company called Memechat rolled out an incentive of providing free ‘KGF 2’ tickets to its employees/ interns and people who download the application.
As soon as they shared this marketing announcement on Twitter, fans began retweeting the notice besides also praising the fact that in current times, when movie tickets are so expensive, this is a really nice gesture.

‘KGF 2’ is a Kannada period-action film starring Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon and Prakash Raj. It has been written and directed by Prashanth Neel.
The film follows the assassin Rocky, who, after establishing himself as the king of Kolar Gold Fields, must now field off adversaries who have eyes on that gold mine besides also coming to terms with his past.
Produced by Hombale films on a budget of Rs. 100 crores, ‘KGF 2’ is the most expensive Kannada film of all time. The director has also retained technicians from the first chapter of ‘KGF’ on this film: Bhuvan Gowda as cinematropher and Ravi Basrur as the music composer.
