Veteran actor Mammootty, who has been ruling the south film industry for over 50 years, turns 70 tomorrow, but the celebrations amongst his fans have already begun. Fans across the state and outside are pouring their wishes by portraying the golden star in different art forms.
Actor Nivin Pauly today launched a dashing common DP of Mammukka where is seen sitting on a classy car displaying his own swag. In the background, it reads 'MEGASTAR' in bold and flashy letters. The DP also has 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY', and 'Sept 7' stylishly written in it.
Also, artist DaVinci Suresh has created a giant and unique portrayal of Mammootty using 600 mobiles and 6000 mobile accessories. He spent 10 hours making the 20-feet-long portrait of the star. This portrayal was done on behalf of a Kodungallur mobile owner (MTel mobiles), as a birthday gift for the star.
On the other, Mammootty's daughter, Surumi who is a renowned artist, aesthetically sketched her father ahead of his 70th birthday. A lot more is yet to come from the proud fans as the superstar to celebrate his 70 birthday tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Mammootty has recently witnessed the 50th glorious year in the Indian film industry this year. And to mark the actor’s remarkable contribution to the Indian cinema, the Kerala government had planned a felicitation event, but Mammootty turned down the celebration citing that he does not want public money to be spent on such events. Isn’t he a true legend?
