The internationally renowned rock band Green Day and American singer-songwriter Shawn Mendes are set to headline the third edition of Lollapalooza India, which will take place in Mumbai in March 2025, according to an announcement made by the organisers on Tuesday. Indian rapper Hanumankind, whose song Big Dawgs has become an international hit, will also be a part of the event.

The organisers revealed an exciting line-up of global and Indian artists for the two-day music festival, which will be held on March 8 and 9. Alongside Green Day and Mendes, former One Direction member Louis Tomlinson, British band Glass Animals, known for their hit "Heat Waves," EDM star Zedd, American DJ John Summit, rock group Nothing But Thieves, and rapper Big Boi, one-half of the iconic duo Outkast, are all set to perform.

Representing India, a range of artists will also take the stage, including hip-hop stars Hanumankind and Raftaar x Kr$na, acclaimed sitarist Niladri Kumar, singer Lisa Mishra, and musicians Raman Negi, Sid Vashi, Raghav Meattle, Sudan, and Tawliinder.

The American rock band Green Day also took to their Instagram handle and wrote, “Another first for us!! India, you’ve been calling our name... and it’s finally time to answer. We’ll see you in Mumbai next March for @LollaIndia (yo emoji).”
Shawn Mendes also took to his Instagram Stories and shared the line-up and wrote, “So excited @lollaindia (red heart emojis).”

The Indian edition of the global music extravaganza is being promoted and co-produced by BookMyShow Live, the live entertainment arm of BookMyShow, in collaboration with global producers Perry Farrell and C3 Presents.
