As fans, friends and family are still finding it difficult to believe the untimely demise of Sidharth Shukla, the late actor's mother Rita Shukla and sisters, Neetu and Preeti have organized a special prayer meet for the departed soul on Monday.

Keeping in mind the COVID-19 protocol and his fans' love for the late actor, his family has decided to hold an online prayer meeting. Fans can come together for one last time to bid goodbye to their favourite star. The special meditation and prayer session will be held at 5 pm on Monday, September 6. The meditation will be held by BK Yogini Didi and the late actor's soul will be blessed by Sister Shivani and the Brahma Kumaris.

Sharing the news, actor Karanvir Bohra wrote in the caption, "Let's all come together today at 5pm for special prayers and blessings for our friend #sidharthshukla organized by his mother #ritaaunty and his sisters #neetu and #preeti and sister #shivanidid @brahmakumaris_bk #seeyouagain on the other side bro."

For the uninitiated, Sidharth's family has been a Brahmakumari follower and his last rites were also done according to the Brahmakumari rituals.

Reacting on Karanvir’s post, many of Sidharth Shukla’s fans assured in the comments section to join the zoom link and pray for his soul.

Earlier on Sunday, Bigg Boss OTT host Karan Johar paid a tribute to Sidharth Shukla as a recap of his Bigg Boss 13 journey's visuals were played on the screen. The filmmaker got emotional and teary-eyed while speaking about him.

Sidharth, a popular face on the Indian small-screen, passed away in Mumbai on Septemebr 2, after suffering a massive cardiac arrest. His last rites took place on Friday in the Oshiwara crematorium.

Sidharth Shukla is survived by his mother and two sisters.
