Small screen actress Leena Jumani, best known for the character of Tanushree in Zee TV’s Kumkum Bhagya, has called off her engagement with US-based businessman Rahul Sachdeva. The duo had gotten engaged in December 2014 after dating for three years and after being engaged for five years, the couple went their separate ways over a year ago states a report in etimes.




And while the actress avoided talking about her personal life immediately after the break-up, she has now opened up about the same with etimes. Leena said: “Yes, it’s true that Rahul and I are no longer with each other. We got engaged in 2014 and hoped to get married, but unfortunately, things didn't work out. I would not like to get into what went wrong. I wish him well.”



The actress who is single now, says she isn’t ready to settle down or look for a companion any time soon. She also spoke on long courtship and said: “It depends on the equation you have with your partner. If things go well, why will you not get married? If things are not meant to be; they don’t happen.”


The actress further added that, “currently, I am open to finding someone, but I am not in a hurry. I would like to go out and meet someone only if he is worth it.”


On being asked about her ideal man, she said there is no checklist of qualities that she would tick yes, it just happens. She shared that she has left it on destiny for now and when things are right, everything will fall in place.


Besides Kumkum Bhagya, Leena was recently seen in the web series Paro, on OTT platform ULLU.
