New Delhi: Kriti Sanon, who is currently busy promoting her upcoming movie 'Bhediya', attended the Elle Awards held on Wednesday in Mumbai. She walked the red carpet in a stunning midnight blue gown and posed for the paparazzi. Noticing that she had turned up alone at the function, a curious pap asked her a question while clicking her pictures, to which she gave a befitting reply!
The paparazzo asked her, "Aapka partner Nahi hai (You don’t have a partner)?" Kriti was slightly amused and taken aback by that sudden question but handled the situation with all her grace. She simply smiled and answered, "Toh kya Hua?” (So how does that matter?)" while continuing to pose for the media.
Kriti received the award of Elle Star performer of the year and posted the pictures on her Instagram handle. She also added a long caption to her post writing, "Thank you Elleindia for the love and honour. Sometimes all one needs is someone who believes in one’s potential! Can’t thank you enough Dinoo for always pushing me to do better, for believing in me and for giving me this beautiful film that I’ll cherish all my life."
She continued, "Thank You Laxman Utekar sir for making Mimi come alive in me &for answering my 10000 questions! And mom dad Nups. you guys are the reason I’m here... I feel blessed that I get to do what I absolutely love doing every single day of my life. Act, create, entertain!"
A lot of her fans commented on her post and congratulated her on her win. One of them wrote, "Congratulations ma'am. Awards are your hard work results. I am shocked that u promote ur movie (bhediya) the whole day without resting any day & maintain your regular routine."
Others who attended the awards ceremony were Janhvi Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, and Kartik Aaryan. Kartik looked sharp in a suit while Janhvi channelled Elsa from the movie Frozen. Deepika was as gorgeous as always while wearing a white tulle skirt.
