New Delhi: Actress Kiara Advani, who married Sidharth Malhotra on February 7, shared a few unseen photos from her wedding on Wednesday to wish her mother, Genevieve Jaffrey on her birthday. It includes pictures from the wedding day, one from the mehendi, and one from the Sangeet night. 


Sharing the pictures, she wrote, “Mummaaaaaa. Happy Happy Birthday to my loving, caring, praying mother.. I am blessed to be your daughter.” 






The first picture from the wedding day shows Kiara with her mother, both wearing a soft pink lehenga. The second picture is also from the same day but in monochrome format. The pic shows Kiara between her mom and her brother Mishaal Advani.  


The third picture is from Kiara and Sidharth's mehendi. It shows the couple posing with Kiara's father, mother and brother. The picture is followed by one from the Sangeet night in which Kiara is with her mother, both twinning in golden attire. 


Kiara and Sidharth got married at Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer on February 7. It was an intimate wedding with friends and family. The couple had a sangeet night and a mehendi ceremony before the wedding. The couple has also shared pictures of the pre-wedding ceremonies. 


After their Jaisalmer wedding, the newlyweds celebrated with a small gathering of family and friends in Delhi and then throw a grand reception party in Mumbai for their Bollywood acquaintances. 


The reception was held at St Regis Hotel in south Mumbai. B-town celebrities Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kriti Sanon, Abhishek Bachchan, Neetu Kapoor, Shilpa Shetty, Bhumi Pednekar, Disha Patani, Aditya Roy Kapur, Anupam Kher, Ishaan Khatter, Vicky Kaushal and Ranveer Singh attended the reception. 


Recently, the reworked version of the popular song ‘Ranjha’ from their movie Shershaah, which was altered to fit their wedding was released on YouTube. The song was released with a caption on YouTube that read, “From the moment they were reel-life lovebirds on Shershaah, Kiara Advani and Siddharth Malhotra redefined chemistry. From that to making Ranjha their wedding song, the couple has surpassed couple goals and truly showed what “Ranjha” stands for.” 


The new version of the song has been composed and arranged by - The Wedding Filmer, Kingshuk Chakravarty, Mayank Choudhary. Prerna Arora, Ashwani Basoya have given their vocals and Shraddha Sehgal has written the lyrics.
