New Delhi: Just a day after surpassing Dangal and becoming the second highest-grossing Hindi film of all time, KGF Chapter 2 has added another achievement to its kitty. The Yash starrer has created a record in terms of OTT deals.


According to a report in Times of India, the film’s OTT rights have been acquired by a popular OTT platform for around Rs 320 crore. The film will reportedly start streaming from May 27 onwards. There has been no official confirmation on it from the makers.


KGF: Chapter 1 is already streaming on Amazon Prime, and it is most likely that KGF 2 will also be streaming on the same OTT platform.


The Prashanth Neel directorial was released on 14th May and has shattered many box office records since then. The film is expected to cross the Rs 400 crore mark today (May 6). KGF Chapter 2 is the second film Baahulbali 2 to have reached this landmark.


Worldwide the film has collected more than Rs 1000 crore becoming the fourth Indian film to achieve the feat after Dangal, Baahubali 2, and RRR. It is the first Kannada film in Tamil Nadu to cross the 100 crore mark.


With the film shattering box office records every other day, it is the most successful film ever being made in the Kannada film industry. The film has achieved landmarks that no other film from the Kannada film industry has ever done.


In a few weeks, we will know whether the film will defeat 'Baahubali 2: The Conclusion' and become the highest-grossing Hindi film ever.


Directed by Prashanth Neel, KGF Chapter 2 also stars Srinidhi Shetty, Sanjay Dutt, and Raveena Tandon in significant roles.
