New Delhi: Keerthy Suresh has been winning fans over with her kind act for the cast and crew of her upcoming flick ‘Dasara’. On the last day of filming of ‘Dasara’, the actress reportedly presented the cast and crew with 130 gold coins weighing 10 grams each. 


According to the latest information, Keerthy handed out 130 gold coins with a price tag of between Rs 50,000 and 55,000 each coin, and the actress spent anywhere between Rs 70 lakhs and 75 lakhs on the coins.


An insider told IANS, “Keerthy was quite emotional on the last day of the shoot. She wanted to give away something to the people who made her give her best for the film.”


Keerthy Suresh plays a character named 'Vennela' in the movie. The Telugu-language pan-India movie is a period action-adventure drama written and directed by debutant Srikanth Odela. It stars Nani and Keerthy Suresh in the lead roles.


Set in the backdrop of Singareni coal mines near Godavarikhani, Telangana, the film is set for theatrical release on 30 March 2023 in Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada languages. The movie has been criticised for being too similar to Allu Arjun's Pushpa, which was also about goldmines.


The film's story is set in a village situated in Singareni Coal Mines in Godavarikhani (Telangana) in Peddapalli district. It's a first-of-its-kind story and Nani will be seen as a never before seen character.
 
Samuthirakani, Sai Kumar and Zarina Wahab will also be seen in pivotal roles in the film which will have music by Santhosh Narayanan with Sathyan Sooryan handling its cinematography.
 
Navin Nooli is the editor and Avinash Kolla is the production designer of the film, and Vijay Chaganti is the Executive Producer.
