New Delhi: With Allu Arjun's latest movie 'Pushpa: The Rise Part One' becoming a blockbuster hit with its hindi-dubbed version, the hindi version of another film of his titled 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' is all set to release in theatres on January 26. Producer Manish Shah's upcoming film 'Shehzada' starring Kartik Aaryan is the hindi remake of the same. Shah has also acquired the dubbing rights of 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo'.
Veteran actor Paresh Rawal, who plays a prominent role in 'Shehzada', thinks that the dubbed version's release would affect the commercial success of the hindi remake. But producer Manish Shah does not feel so.
In an interview with ETimes, Shah said,"Shehzada has a frontline Hindi star cast and is being shot in a very big way. It is definitely going to do well."
On being asked about the decision regarding the film's release, Shah defended his decision and said,"We have about four big release dates in a year and January 26th is one of the biggest days. There is no Hindi film releasing on that day and that is the reason I am releasing the dubbed version of the film."
According to reports, Shah has bought the dubbing rights of the film for a hefty price. Inside reports also claim that producers who wish to make remakes of popular South films should also purchase the dubbing rights as it would ensure the safety of their Hindi remake.
'Shehzada' stars Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon in the lead roles. The duo has paired once again after the audience liked their pairing in 'Luka Chhupi'.
