Mumbai: Bollywood actress Kajol is one of the finest artists in the Hindi film industry. Apart from her amazing acting skills, Kajol is also known for just being herself off-screen. In many of her interviews and other public events, Kajol doesn’t shy away from speaking her mind. But there are some things that Kajol didn’t share with her fans. One such is that she had a crush on Akshay Kumar when she was a teenager.
‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ which is popular for its comic content and most importantly for hosting several celebrities, once invited celebrity best friends Kajol and Karan Johar. When the pair best friend duo graced ‘TKSS’ with their presence, they revealed some secrets about each other. While the ‘My Name Is Khan’ actress disclosed why she laughed continuously when she met KJo for the first time. Kajol made her point by saying that Karan was wearing a three-piece while attending a discotheque party.

Well, the ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ director also revealed a secret about Kajol. He revealed that during the premiere of Rishi Kapoor’s 1991 film ‘Henna’, Kajol had a huge crush on Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar. Karan also revealed that the whole party both of them were searching for Akshay. The filmmaker jokingly told Kapil Sharma during the show, “All through the premiere, Kajol was looking for Akshay Kumar and I became her support. Who knows, perhaps, I was seeking him too. By the end of the premiere, we could not get Akshay but found each other.”
Karan Johar and Kajol are the closest of friends in the Hindi film industry. They have worked together in movies like ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’, ‘My Name Is Khan’ and others.
While Kajol was last seen featuring in the Netflix movie ‘Tribhanga’, Karan Johar will be next witnessed directing Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’. KJo will return to the director’s chair after a long break.
